Welcome to paradise! Welcome to Maracas Bay Hotel !  An intimate, 32-room property located on Trinidad's most popular beach - a one-and-a-half hour drive via taxi service from Piarco International Airport and 30 minutes from downtown Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago’s capital city. (see maps).

We offer all the luxury conveniences amidst a backdrop of diverse tropical experiences.

Our air-conditioned rooms provide spectacular views of the Caribbean Sea.

You can start your day with a traditional Trinidadian breakfast at our unique, open-air, circular restaurant, "Bandanya," which is also the ideal spot for a hearty lunch and a pleasant dinner.

At dusk you can enjoy a drink at our cosy hotel bar, "Aqua," while marvelling at the red radiance of the evening sky.

Of course the time period that exists in-between meals is where the real excitement lies.

Maracas is a sheltered bay ringed by a mile of sand and the beach is where the action is: drawing dozens of visitors per day and hundreds on weekends and public holidays. If you’re not taking a swim in the sea or taking in the sun on the shore, then surely you’ll be trying out the region’s popular delicacy, bake and shark, from one of the several stalls located along North Coast Road.

Just 30 feet away from the hotel compound is the picturesque fishing village of Maracas where you can witness fishermen bring in their daily catch in their colourful pirogues. If you are lucky, you might even be able to give them a hand, pulling in the huge fishing net known as the seine.

Next to the hotel runs a small river where you can try your luck catching either fish or crabs.

If there’s an eco-adventurer within you, then further pleasures exist within the nearby Northern Range, densely covered by a typical tropical rain forest and the location of several water falls.

A journey to the east along North Coast reveals several other fine beaches including Las Cuevas and Blanchisseusse while historic Fort Abercromby overlooks Las Cuevas Bay.
